Have you purchased a domain name from Godaddy & want to host it on Hostgator? If yes, this is a detailed guide to point Godaddy domain to HostGator hosting.
Godaddy is a popular domain registration company. I have few domains on Godaddy, and all these domains are hosted on Hostgator hosting. That means the domain is still on Godaddy, and my Websites are hosted on Hostgator. You can do the same by changing the domain Nameserver from Godaddy to Hostgator. In this guide, I will share how you can change Nameserver on Godaddy & point it to Hostgator. Once you have done that, you should read my guide on Hostgator Addon domain, to add it to your Hostgator account.
Note: If you have used your Godaddy domain as a primary domain to buy hosting from Hostgator, you don’t need to add it as an add-on domain.
For newbies, Hostgator Baby & Business plan let you host unlimited Websites. That means you don’t have to buy separate hosting for new domains. This way, you will save money & will get peace of mind.
